Stardust flavour

Stardust Flavour blends two visual obsessions: retrofuturism and the domestic iconography of the 1950s. The scene takes place inside a spaceship with art deco flair, where a woman styled like a classic Hollywood star casually holds a paper bag filled with alien-looking fruits —as if she’d just returned from a routine grocery run on another planet.

On the table: a spilled bowl of cereal, a bottle of milk, a cheerful box of “Galactic Crunch.” Mundane, almost absurd objects that contrast with the pristine, stylized setting. The image plays with nostalgia for a future that never came, channeling the spirit of Barbarella with a modern sense of irony.

The photograph imagines the possibility that, somewhere in the cosmos, there might be beings who look just like us —or who share the same quiet routines. Maybe there are retro housewives out there too, daydreaming of breaking free. The charm of this piece lies in that strange blend: kitsch, intimacy, the alien and the familiar, all floating together in the same frame.

Produced on acrylic with aluminum base, all limited edition prints are signed and numbered by hand by the artist. 

Each piece of artwork is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

The artist reserves the right to produce up to two Artist Proofs for each artwork in addition to the edition sizes listed.

The photograph is printed directly onto 2mm acrylic with a 3mm reinforcing aluminum panel. Printing is the latest generation of direct UV printing with 7 inks, including clear inks, so that the images have the highest quality and sharpness.

The hanger bracket is an aluminum frame.

It comes protected with a plastic that covers the screen so that scratches do not appear. When you receive the photo, you simply have to remove it and you will find the work in perfect condition and also brighter.

Caring for the work is very simple, you just have to use a clean cotton handkerchief and moisten it with water.
