Stardust flavour

In Stardust Flavour, a retrofuturistic aesthetic becomes the wrapping for a veiled critique of patriarchy and the figure of the trad wife—the idealized traditional housewife—projected beyond Earth itself. The scene, set inside a spaceship with art deco lines, presents a blonde woman dressed like a 1950s domestic icon, holding a bag of alien fruits freshly brought from the interstellar market.

Spilled milk, colorful cereals, and a box of Galactic Crunch complete the table, turning the domestic routine into an absurd and enchantingly artificial choreography. Despite the futuristic setting, everything points back to a very familiar system: one in which the feminine remains trapped in roles carefully designed to appear natural.

The image speculates on the possibility that, even in other planetary systems, patriarchy would survive—adapted to new languages yet unchanged in its essence. The alien merges with the everyday, revealing a universe where past and future coexist to sustain the same structures. A dystopia wrapped in pastel tones and domesticated nostalgia.

Produced on acrylic with aluminum base, all limited edition prints are signed and numbered by hand by the artist. 

Each piece of artwork is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

The artist reserves the right to produce up to two Artist Proofs for each artwork in addition to the edition sizes listed.

The photograph is printed directly onto 2mm acrylic with a 3mm reinforcing aluminum panel. Printing is the latest generation of direct UV printing with 7 inks, including clear inks, so that the images have the highest quality and sharpness.

The hanger bracket is an aluminum frame.

It comes protected with a plastic that covers the screen so that scratches do not appear. When you receive the photo, you simply have to remove it and you will find the work in perfect condition and also brighter.

Caring for the work is very simple, you just have to use a clean cotton handkerchief and moisten it with water.
